Coaching

Sacred & spacious coaching — with spiritual themes that revolve around the seasons.

It’s a common social sign-off. We hear it every day.

“Take care.”

But what does it actually mean to “take care” of yourself?

For me, self-care is an active practice of nourishing your mind, body & spirit, every single day.

It’s a commitment to keeping your personal reserves of creativity & compassion as full as they can possibly be.

It means saying “YES” to choices that energize you, and saying “NO” (or “not now”) to things that exhaust you.

Practicing self-care isn’t selfish. It’s actually one of the most generous things you can do.

By taking care of yourself, you’re ensuring that you can SHOW UP at full capacity — for your children, your partner, your pets, your colleagues, and everyone who depends on your brilliance.

So, what does self-care mean for YOU?
As your coach, it’s my honor to help you find out.

I offer private Self-Care Coaching for women — with rotating themes, that shift with the seasons.

In the spring, we focus on rebirth, renewal, and lively reinvention.
In the summer, we play with themes of celebration, connection & sweet, simple living.
In the autumn, we go ‘back to school’ — with practical how-to’s & spacious to-do’s.
And in the winter, we explore the qualities of silence, serenity & sanctuary.

But no matter the season, Self-Care Coaching is all about YOU.

We can talk about absolutely anything — relationships, boundaries, your career, your health, your dreams & your fears. My role is to help you live simply & simply live — in every season of your life.

Together, we can work on . . .

: Creating calm, centered, non-negotiable boundaries in every area of your life — from how often you check & respond to email, to how you engage with your colleagues & boss, to how you handle requests from your partner, family & friends.

: Building foundational self-care into your daily routine — from beginning a yoga practice, to morning meditation, to cooking at home, to simply washing your hair and facing the day.

: Cultivating the confidence to simply ask for what you need — from your partner, from your kids, from your friends & your tribe.

: Inviting ease, grace & simplicity into your world — by illuminating the choices that lead to overwhelm & exhaustion, and respectfully asking them to boot it.

Praise for my coaching & teaching

I left my coaching call with Jenn feeling a sense of rejuvenation, deep connection to another woman, and had a plan.

I felt so inspired to do all of these things and move on to using the advice that was given to me.

It helped me so much to receive the focus points of our conversation via email to add to my own notes of the call too. It made the whole experience really thorough, heartfelt, and sacred.

I knew someone else was cheering for me the following day as I was trying some new things in my life and self-care.

On the morning that I planned to chase after my dream job with a non-profit, I woke up full of doubt and completely lacking in confidence.

Jenn was the first person I thought to reach out to and she dropped everything to conference with me by phone. In a matter of minutes, she had patiently and energetically talked me through all of my worries and misgivings.

I hung up the phone once again full of the knowledge that this was the perfect step for me to be taking that day and I went into my meeting radiating self-confidence and positivity.

I didn’t know what to expect from an over-the-phone coaching conversation, but Jenn helped me relax into the moment and the call was over too soon.

She showed up and listened with her heart – she was peaceful to my fretful – and with much grace and discernment, she allowed me to come to my own powerful conclusions.

One of those conclusions – the one I didn’t expect – was that because of my experiences and background in evangelical Christianity, I am strategically placed among women whose language I totally understand. Maybe instead of resisting my life and community – maybe I am meant to work within the population that I come from because I am especially equipped to do that job.

Jenn and I were both participants in a spiritual mentoring course one year ago.

During that time I discovered her to be both insightful and encouraging towards me and my own journey of awakening.

Sharing my dreams and fears with Jenn and receiving her intuitive responses was like accepting a gift of sunshine and crystal clear water—so pure, so blessed and so valued.

I treasure Jenn as a friend and mentor and I respect and honour the wisdom that comes from her life experiences and thoughtful reflections.

Jenn offered me space to share my hesitations out loud. She listened. She heard me, and in return she offered me new insight and perspective.

Along with the gift of her luxurious self-care practices, my coaching with Jenn opened me up to seeing that the answers I seek truly lie within me.

Jenn is a compassionate and gently encouraging teacher.

Her coaching sessions are thoughtful and inspiring. She creates a safe and reflective space to explore personal power and balance, and she totally rocks at developing self-care practices! Thank you, Jenn. :)

Self-care for the Soul was the first ecourse I took. It compelled me to move forward within myself and figure more of myself out.

I knew I was not happy and/or complete, but also knew I was ready for the journey. The journey is still in progress, and a part of me knows it will be life long as long as I stay adventurous, but I am so excited for it.

Self-care is not something that necessarily comes naturally or easily for a lot of people – when you’re hitting burn out you don’t always stop and think: OK, I need to stop and rest and take care of my heart or my soul.

Self-care for the Soul is this great little e-course, it’s amazing. It gives you some great perspective on self-care and I did it when it first came out, I sort of jumped on it — and it was fantastic.
